The Board for the Protection of Human Rights express its opinion on two cases brought by a Muslim man on a scaffold builder from Zwartewaal and an employment agency from Zwijndrecht. He works in January 2013 through the agency of the scaffold builder at a workplace where heavy resistance requirements. Because of this he can not pray regularly and he feels discriminated against because of his religion. He loses his appointment. The College sees indirect discrimination on grounds of religion, but considers that this is justified by security considerations. So there is no prohibited discrimination on grounds of religion made.
