Pegida-foreman Edwin Wagensveld is acquitted by the police judge in Utrecht. He was charged with failing to comply with the mayor of Utrecht imposed restrictions around a Pegida-demonstration in februari 2017. He then turned up at the site of a leftist counter-demonstration. The Public Prosecution Service will appeal and that must be done in November 2017.
