There will be one on our website in February artikel published on White Lives Matter, which describes which two members may be involved in the laser action on the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. A few days after this publication, these two men were arrested by the police. These arrests are also (parts of) weapons found. The men also appear to be involved in a criminal case involving racist violence.

White Lives Matter (WLM) is an action group that since 2021 is active in the Netherlands and gained great fame with a racist laser action in Rotterdam. Shortly after this action, the Public Prosecution Service is one research started because it considers the expressions projected on the Erasmus Bridge punishable. Op 24 February, the police arrested Daniel Smirnov and John Abrossimow. This day it turned out that Smirnov is also suspected of it project slogans at the city hall of Eindhoven. During carnival, the slogans “keep Lampegat white” and “We must secure the survival of our people and a future for white children” were used there.. The last slogan is a translation of the American neo-Nazi David Lane's '14 words', beloved in far-right circles.. Abrossimow is also suspected of another laser action, at the town hall of Alkmaar 18 January. Here reference was made to an anti-Semitic website, criticized the World Economic Forum and Dutch farmers were applauded.

In addition, it appears that the search of the houses a crossbow and 3D printed parts for weapons have been found. In december 2022 Smirnov tells under his pseudonym Derpman in a podcast of the Telegram group Yongebroeren about a “fully legal crossbow, semi-automatic”.. He would like to use it when political opponents come to visit him. The crossbow found may therefore belong to him. WLM's main weapon, the laser projector, however, was not found by the police. It cannot be ruled out that the police, the one during the search “data carriers” confiscated still comes out to other suspects of laser actions. And it is quite possible that the police investigation will lead to the detection of users of the WLM and Yongebrothers Telegram groups. Texts and images that could be punishable are placed in these groups. A member of the Yongebroeren Telegram group is in October 2022 condemned to a prison sentence because he was guilty of incitement to a terrorist offense in this group.

Regardless of the continuation of these arrests, contact with the Justice Department for Smirnov and Abrossimow is not over yet. Op 17 oktober 2021 are they, together with another man, arrested in the center of Breda. Before the trio allegedly abused a man and a woman because of their skin color, would they have racist and National Socialist stickers from White Lives Matter and Popular resistance have pasted. One of the detainees was also in possession of a knife. Smirnov is also suspected of assaulting the man in question. In maart 2023 they must answer in a court of law for these actions.
