The Freedom Party is not to imagine the Dutch politics. At the same time, it is a grouping mysterious, where numerous journalists and researchers so far could not get a grip. First Koen Vossen managed the mechanisms of and behind the PVV expose leggen.In 2006 PVV came with nine seats in parliament. It was the beginning of a march that culminated in an as yet 2010, when the party with 24 seats was the third party in the Netherlands, after which they got great influence as tolerated party minority government on government policy. After the fall of the government decreased both the power and the supporters of the Freedom Party, but the party is far from disappeared from view.
With the rapidly growing influence of the Freedom Party raised more and more questions about the party. By which ideas the party is guided? Ten thousand Amsterdammers were during World War II member of the NSB. The Amsterdam Nazis is actually little known. What did it mean to wartime member of the party was in collusion with the occupiers? How did family members, friends and neighbors? How was the atmosphere within the movement? Many NSB members were convinced Nazis and participated in the persecution of Jews. On the streets they regularly clashed with their opponents.
