The Institute for Human Rights rules on a discrimination complaint by a Moroccan-Dutch Muslim woman against a company Bilthoven. Op 11 maart 2015 this company turned the Muslim woman down for an internship because she wouldn't fit in the team. In an internal mail, the Moroccan origin of the woman was mentioned. The company has also said that it prefers employees without a headscarf because of the open and representative appearance of the employees. The Institute states that the woman has not been discriminated against on the grounds of race. Moroccan descent has only been declared neutral. However, there is discrimination based on religion and gender.
