State Council criticized proposal Nexit referendum
Since chosen in Britain for a Brexit, Netherlands sounds the call for an even louder Nexit. The political party VNL filed in March already proposed a referendum in Nexit, but the Council of State is critical.
The Council of State, the principal adviser on legislation, finds that the petitioners have to 'reconsider' the proposal for an EU referendum. In practice, this means that the State Council VNL advises not to submit the bill.
