The City Council Geldermalsen meets on the reception of asylum seekers. An internet campaign group “Geldermalsen says no to AZC” would like "an outcrySounding ". People declare that they will not catch on asylum seekers, no smaller numbers. It is an uneasy meeting where councilors are booed and protest lyrics are displayed. Outside the building there is a demonstration of several hundred people, which proceeds quietly. There are some fireworks popping and the slogan 'AZC away with it’ is chanted.
