The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights issues a decision in a case involving a native Dutch man who was transferred from the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug in Doorn to end illegal occupation of a caravan. He performed here 14 oktober 2016 already a lawsuit about. The man states that the municipality does have status holders (recognized asylum seekers) in portocabins and that he is racially discriminated against because he is not allowed to live in a caravan. The Institute sees no discrimination in the case, because the municipality simply enforces the zoning plan of the campsite and does not receive asylum seekers in similar situations at all.
