Today the magazine Elsevier portrays a couple in Groningen Haren which opposes the arrival of a hotel for hundreds of foreign students. They say: “Before you know it there are Eastern Europeans, some workers”. They think that it is done with the rest of the district because the students do not bond with the region. They have 120 protest signatures collected and the local party Common Sense Haren supports them. It also wants to sue plans.
