The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights will rule on a complaint from a transgender person early August 2016 was turned down as a taxi driver by a taxi company in Rotterdam where people consciously only work with female taxi drivers. The transgender was formerly male and is now female. The taxi company called its customers and they did not like the appointment. The fact that the woman is transgender is also mentioned in the rejection. The Institute states that there is discrimination based on sex.
