In the town of Geldermalsen find a meeting place for the arrival of AZC. here's sake 59 citizens will leave. In advance it is already clear that it will be a tight situation. Angry residents have made banners and people are mobilized to come. Throughout the week the atmosphere is grim and though the village is full of banners against AZC. This evening walk opponents in a protest march to the city hall. If the meeting is just busy, runs the outside totally out of control. About eighty people turn against the police and throwing fireworks, bottles and stones. There are windows smashed and fireworks chipped. The group is advancing to the council, which gradually cleared. Attendees entrench themselves on the first floor. The drums Police Mobile Unit, which solves warning shots to keep away protesters. Police arrested fourteen people, many of which are derived from Geldermalsen and neighboring villages. There is also involvement of the extreme right to protest. Ook Identitair Verzet claims that there were activists from them, but they cover themselves by claiming that they have called them to withdraw when the riots began. supporters of Identitair Verzet places then comments that they just cheer violence. Ook Voorpost regrets the riots. Afterwards they write: “Our country occupies? Come with Voorpost in 't resistance! No AZC in Geldermalsen! helps resistance!”. Because the church dares following plans for the AZC not to proceed.
