The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights rules on a complaint from a woman who lives at a caravan site in the Zaanstreek-Waterland region. She got in juli 2016 a rejection for an order at a web store. Due to the fact that the woman lives in a trailer site, she may not use the option to pay afterwards. The woman has to pay in advance and the company does not want to make any additional payments “campings, caravan sites and office buildings“. She must then pick up her package at a service point. The MEB determines that the online store discriminates against women on the grounds of race.
