Four months ran HP / De Tijd journalist Karen Geurtzen internship with the party of Geert Wilders. Besides the fact that they showed in this way that the security of Geert Wilders was as leaky as a sieve (she was easy to find with Google as a journalist), she also gives a look behind the scenes of the most controversial political party in the Netherlands.
Karen's story gives a fascinating look at the people, decision-making processes and the ideas of the Party for Freedom. But it provides a pretty picture of amateurism and the arbitrariness of arguments associated with the establishment of this new party.
