Pegida wants to demonstrate in Eindhoven despite the ban

Anti-Islam movement Pegida wants to demonstrate in Eindhoven on Sunday, even though mayor John Jorritsma has forbidden it. The municipality fears disturbances because Pegida plans to burn or destroy a Koran in some other way. In the past, a demonstration of the organization also resulted in riots and three hundred officers and two platoons had to be deployed.
