Ramadantoer

Pegida organizes a demonstration in Eindhoven to the Salafist Al Fourqaan mosque. Pegida wants to give speeches there and barbecue pork during the Ramadan period. The municipality prohibits the barbecue, but the demonstration can continue. The demonstration ends after hundreds of local residents hold a counter-demonstration and groups of counter-protesters with rocks and sticks block the route.. After stones are thrown at the protesters and the police intervene. There are 12 persons arrested. Pegida leader Edwin Wagensveld later reports for the use of force against Pegida protesters. The PVV later asks parliamentary questions.
