Pegida Flyer Promotion

After two previous demonstrations of Pegida were stopped at the Al-Fourqaan mosque in Eindhoven because of violence by local residents and counter-protesters, Pegida comes back today to fold for the mosque again. The police arrest the group of protesters, because the demonstration has not been formally announced. The mayor had already announced in advance that this would happen. Before their arrest, counter-protesters pelted the Pegida activists with eggs and stones. Twelve people were arrested, including an ANP journalist and his wife. All detainees are released the same day.
