The College of Human Rights is investigating a complaint from a woman who lives on a caravan site in Beneden-Leeuwen. In May 2016 the municipality of West Maas en Waal has ordered it to remove a caravan and garden shed, which she had placed there for several years next to an existing caravan. The woman states that the municipality has an extinction policy. However, the Board sees no evidence for such a policy and does not consider the woman to have been duped because the municipality does not want extra places at her location.. So there is no discrimination on the basis of race. The same statement applies to a housing association from Hedel, which the woman had also filed a complaint against.

After the daubing on 20 maart in Bruchem This Wednesday morning the same sign with a mirror swastika will be defaced. This is on a sign of a cycling route in the outside area in between Hedel en Bruchem.
