Pim Fortuyn List

Because the LPF has a seat in the House of Representatives election participation considerably simpler. Thus, for example, the party does not in each constituency by thirty eligible citizens are supported with a signature.
Discussions within the extreme right circuit shows that there is still support for the LPF exists, but due to the resignation of party leader Nawijn as this support rapidly become less. A look at the candidate provides at least not right-wing extremists on, but two interesting people:

Harry G. Maronier (1939) is councilor for Liveable Rotterdam and is on the 21th place on the LPF list. He had last year for Liveable Netherlands in the House wanted, but the selection was not. Maronier has long been active in the LPF, partly as a circle coordinator in Rotterdam. Remarkably, the plan in June 2002 go to the Vlaams Blok visit. He would Michiel Smit, the current number two Conservatieven.nl, do. They are both also board member of Livable Rotterdam, and that group saw that visit not sit and whistled them back. Yet Maronier is not so happy with the right sounds within Liveable Rotterdam. The NRC says he: “Our problem, that the party members who also sit on the Centre Democrats”. Remarkably Maronier now puts a supporting signature for Conservatieven.nl. This is an offshoot of the LPF led by Winny de Jong, Michiel Smit second husband. This new party needs in Rotterdam thirty of these signatures to participate. It is very unusual to be active during the elections in two competing parties.

Mr. E.C.A.M. (Elise) Boot (1932) Utrecht is on the 23rd place in the LPF. She has been an MEP for the CDA. Interesting are its activities in the orthodox Catholic corner. It assists in 1989 candidate for the right-wing Catholic party “God with us” For the European Parliament. That same year she visits a contact day of orthodox Roman Catholics Contact (CRK). In the nineties Boat active in the rightmost game Dutch Christian Democrats (NCD), including as a member of the Audit Committee and as secretary study. In 1998 Boat dives in at the General Elderly Alliance (AOV). From December 2002 she is a board member of the LPF.
